I absolutely love this movie! I’ve been holding off getting it on DVD, waiting for the Blu-ray to come out. Now that you’ve alerted me to this awesome Collector’s Edition, I’m really hoping to win this! One thing I like about it– it comes with 3 discs, both Blu-ray and DVD, and there are more bonus features than on the single Blu-ray release. And the other items in the package are really great, too! Gonna keep my fingers crossed!

“Singin’ in the Rain” is such a classic movie with great stars, great music, and great dancing. It’s interesting that the theme of the movie—transitioning from silent movies to talkies—was used in “The Artist,” the 2012 Oscar winner (this time with no sound, but some dancing).

Here are some of the reasons why I want to win one of the two SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN Ultimate Collector’s Edition sets:
1. It is an upbeat film that, unlike so many others, tells a story about the entertainment industry that many non-entertainment industry professionals enjoy
2. It is a classic movie musical that includes both traditional and modern dance numbers, including some ballet … and it works well
3. It reflects on movies’ transition from silent films to talkies in a humorous manner
4. If it includes 4K images in the set, when TV’s transition to 4K sets from the current 1080p sets, it would be good to go on the new sets, too
