I love movies and I love having Girl’s Nights! Coming up on March 14th, I would love to get the girls together and go to the movies to see Lionsgate’s newest release, The Single Moms Club! The Single Moms Club is a story about five struggling single Moms who put aside their differences in the midst of a school dilemma with their kids to form a support group. Throughout their journey, the five women find inspiration and laughter in their newly developed sisterhood and help one another overcome the obstacles that stand in their way.

I know that when I first moved here to California and was going through my divorce, I looked for support and friendship. I joined MOMS Club, MOPS and a Bunco Group. Funny how over the years, many of those friends I first met are now some of my closest friends (and even some are Bridesmaids in our upcoming wedding)!!!  Here’s a quote from the character of Peter in the movie I absolutely love on life: “You don’t have to be good at starting over, you just have to be good at letting go.”

Plus, The Single Moms Club includes an incredible cast!! This feel-good movie, directed by and starring Tyler Perry as well as Amy Smart, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Zulay Henao, Cocoa Brown, and Nia Long, reminds us of the incredible bond that we as women form in friendships and promises.
